My Portfolio

Welcome. I am an outdoor adventure enthusiast, avid canoeist, rock climber, biker and cross-country skier. This portfolio is a collection of the skills and competencies I have acquired during the 2 year Outdoor Adventure (ODA) program at Algonquin College in Ontario Canada

The outdoors has always been a passion for me. Since my youth, I preferred to be outdoors exploring and catching frogs, snakes and other small creatures. As I grew older, I spent my spare time devoted to the wonders of paddling canoes or being a part of a dragon boat team. My keen interest led me to Humber College where I earned an Outdoor Education Certificate with Honors but felt compelled to further my learning at Algonquin College in the Outdoor Adventure Program. I started this program with the long term goal of owning and operating my own business and had hoped to learn and fine tune my outdoor skills, expand my emergency and rescue knowledge, acquire industry certifications and learn the business skills and concepts required to successfully run a business in the outdoor adventure field.
